let’s get physical
Most people think about the start of November as being the beginning of the holiday season. Most people wait until the middle of the winter to start working out and getting into shape. Don’t do that, start now and get a head start towards your path to balance and health. But, before we start, let us remember that physical and mental health care are to be equally important.
Winter is coming up and the best way to avoid the extra pounds, impending gloom, and doom is to work out! Working out will help you with depression, anxiety, weight gain, stress, and more importantly it will help your heart. Take out your frustrations with the gym! Seasonal Affective Disorder affects many people across the country during this time of year. The lack of sun, vitamin D, and cold weather physically influence our mental health. It is nothing to be ashamed about.
If mental illness runs in your family, you have more of a chance to develop a seasonal affective disorder, or “SAD.” Making the first step towards a trainer or gym membership will help you balance your mind and body in order to make it through the next few months.
Don’t wait until January 2nd… start now for better and longer-lasting results!
